Kathryn Bubrig

Codey Tyda, who received a bachelor's degree in Biology (pre-medicine) and an associate degree in Radiologic Technology degree from Mercy College of Ohio, took the next step in his dream of becoming a physician. On March 15, he matched with Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center to begin his Residency program in Neurology. Codey aspires to become a neuroendovascular surgeon and eventually be a part of the Mercy Health community. Codey attended St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies.

Codey is thankful for the support he has received during his educational career. “I’m thrilled to match with my first choice and so grateful to those at Mercy College of Ohio and St. Vincent Medical Center that have supported me through this journey. Nine years ago I began my journey as a rad-tech at this very institution. Seven years ago I entered the inaugural premed Mercy College class. Today, I am incredibly honored to be returning home as a physician to begin my residency in Neurology in the Mercy system.
