The Recognition of Excellence provides an opportunity for the Mercy College community to recognize the successes and outstanding work of our students, staff, and faculty.
As Mercy College of Ohio continues to respond to the rapidly evolving situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19), the decision has been made to cancel the land-based component of the 2020 land-based Recognition of Excellence event. Our top priority is the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, and their families. While we may not be able to celebrate sharing the same physical space, we are finalizing plans for a virtual celebration and recognition of our community members’ many accomplishments. Please continue to check this page, and your Mercy College email account, for additional updates.
The event includes:
Presentation of awards, including:
- Academic Excellence for each academic program
- Spirit of Mercy (student, staff, and faculty)
- Innovative Teaching
- Outstanding Faculty Member**
- Outstanding Faculty Service
- Outstanding Staff Service
Recognition of:
- Honor societies
- Student leaders
- Student, faculty and staff accomplishments
**Note: The nominators of the Outstanding Faculty Member award must be either a faculty member, member of Academic Council, or Executive Staff Member.
